We are moving to a new
facility this fall for our agility classes. They will be held indoors at
Okanagan Equine Veterinary Services in a horse arena. The address is
4656 Wallace Hill Road in southeast Kelowna about a mile or so from
McCulloch and June Springs Roads.
Beginner Agility –
Monday, November 14th at 6:00pm. Class is 90 minutes long and includes
equipment set up. Contact us to register and for details
All advanced classes will
start on Sunday, November 20, 2011. Due to the proximity of the holiday
season, these classes will be on a DROP-IN basis for 5 weeks ending on
December 18th. $20 per drop in.

Going the Distance – Sunday
at 1:30pm Duration – 1.5 hour Length – 6 weeks Cost - $120 If you have already taken a Distance Class and your dog is happily working away from you, then this is the next level. We will work on progressively more challenging sequences from greater distances. We will be borrowing some distance techniques from Kristy Netzer and other master trainers. Our goal is to be able to work our dogs up to 22 feet away.

Family Dog:
The focus of this fun
and challenging program is to practice and proof everyday basic life
skill exercises such as sit, stay, down, come when called, and
proper leash handling methods while incorporating varying degrees
distractions, relay games and nosework games. Our classes are small
and personalized, with only six dogs per class, so that you and your
dog can get the most out of this program. This is a perfect place to
start with a new to you dog. For dogs 5 months and up and for those who may have been away from training for a while 7 weeks - cost $140.00 1st class is without dogs Next session starting Thursday October 6, 2011 at 6:30 Contact Sue at brien1@hotmail.com to reserve your spot ** Though we strive to hold our classes as scheduled, occasionally it is necessary to postpone a class. This may be due to weather, or our instructors being absent while attending trials, seminars, etc. Any postponed classes will always be made up.
